Before I hired Nishaka, I experienced a lot of panic and overwhelming pressure because I was planning my first wedding and I was trying to do everything on my own. I was so afraid of forgetting something important. But once I had Nishaka as my wedding coordinator, I was able to relax because I knew that I had a second pair of eyes that were way more experienced than mine to make sure I didn’t overlook anything. Nishaka understood the vision that I had for my wedding and she helped me enhance it. On the day of my wedding, I was so calm and collected even when things went “wrong”. Small things that would’ve bothered me had I attempted to go through the whole process on my own were probably handled by Nishaka before I could even find out. I didn’t have any worries on the big day. It truly was a blissful day.
Having a wedding planner helped to keep me on track with what I needed to do and what had already been done. Knowing that I had someone there to remind me when something needed to be done actually took a lot of pressure off of me because I didn’t feel like I had to remember every single thing on my own. Nishaka gave me ideas regarding design that completely enhanced the look of my wedding. She was the person that I could look to when I wanted to make sure I was on the right track. On the actual wedding day, everything went smoothly because of Nishaka and her staff. If I had to do everything on my own, then I would’ve been running around like a chicken with its head cut off instead of enjoying the day. Since Nishaka and her staff are so experienced and professional, it put the guests and my wedding party at ease too. All they had to do was follow the instructions that they were given and trust that everything else would be taken care of.
Every bride needs a wedding planner whether she realizes it or not. I don’t think I would’ve had as good of a time as I did on my wedding day if I had tried to do everything myself. And the planning process would have been way more stressful and overwhelming without a planner. A bride can’t be in multiple places at one time, but a planner and staff can. A bride is bound to forget things especially if they are planning a wedding for the first time, but a planner has planned/been to hundreds of weddings. If you have money in your budget for a planner, do yourself a favor and get one. I have no regrets about hiring a planner.
