When planning your special event, two important items to determine are your budget and venue. These two typically drive the rest of the decision making of all the to do’s of the event. Identify your theme for your special event and select a venue that matches your style. If you have a beach theme, look for a venue with a lake or beach. If you are going for a modern appeal, look for an art gallery or an upscale venue with a non-traditional look. Your style could have a more industrial feel to the design. Look for remodeled venues such as old mills. Maybe you want a venue with a royal appeal. Search for a venue with beautiful large chandeliers with a grand appearance. The key is to match your style to the venue!
Now you have finalized the venue, revisit your budget to determine how you want to spend the rest of your budget i.e., Wedding Planner, Catering (type of food), Cake, Decorations, DJ or Band, Photographer, Lighting, Videography, Invitations, Rentals, and more.
