A couple weeks ago, I spent some time with one of my Brides Jennifer and her Hostess working to assemble her Wedding Invitations. It was a great time of fellowship and just simply working as a team to accomplish another wedding goal. Once her Groom arrived, he was able to lend his services. We needed to finish the invitation with the wax and seal. A great job for the Groom! As you can tell, he was hard at work for his wedding. This idea began the thought of how the Groom can assist his Bride during the planning process.
Here are couple ideas:
- Come up with ideas for your idea. Find pictures of suits, ties, and vest combinations you can share with your Bride including shoe options.
- Volunteer to meet with the DJ and help with determining the music especially for the reception.
- Research Honeymoon ideas and meet with the Travel Agent to get quotes.
- Help assemble Wedding Invitations. : )
- Book the Wedding Night Accommodations.
- If transportation is confirmed as a yes, look for a really nice car for the exit and book it.
- If applicable, help assemble Wedding Favors.
- Search for gifts for the Groomsmen and purchase them.
- A Thank You Gift for your Bride. Something fun and thoughtful. It could be a gift certificate to the spa, dinner for two, or flowers to the office. Just something that shows your appreciation her for all of her hard!
Grooms & future Grooms…You can truly be a great asset to your Bride during the planning process. Find the opportunity and win some points with your future Wife to be!
Thanks Jennifer & Omar!
