If I could replay July 25, 2015 over again from beginning to end, I most certainly would! I was referred to Nishaka Proctor by my best friend who referred to her as “the best” and my fiance’ and I quickly found out why! From the very beginning, it was clear that this was going to be much more than a business relationship. She made sure to get to know me above everything. The very first time we met, instead of going through a price log or even showing me pictures of other weddings she’s done, the first thing she asked me was “tell me how you got engaged, I want to hear all about it” and from then on I knew, she was something special. Her talent is unmatched. On my end, I only knew the colors that I wanted and that I didn’t want it to look like the norm. That was it. I let her imagination run wild and each time she had a new idea she made sure that we went over it together. I loved it all! From the white furniture, the hanging crystals from the ceiling, to the “lamp shade” floral center pieces, it was all simply breathtaking. The most important part was that I didn’t stress during the entire 1 year of planning. She was so punctual and professional and her team kept the day flowing. Nishaka’s “I can handle it” attitude would put any bride at ease. The day of the wedding, my fiance and I, and all of our guests were floored. I know they say that nothing is perfect but it was literally THE perfect day! Hiring a planner makes all of the difference for your own piece of mind and keeping things organized. I would suggest anyone hire a planner for such an important day (Nishaka of course) Even if you need a planner for all of the details or just a coordinator for the day of, it makes all of the difference. The less work the bride has to do the better. Nishaka made sure that my only task was to “show up and be beautiful” and her team would handle the rest! She even had the men commenting on what a beautiful day it was, that on its own speaks for itself. You can’t go wrong with her!
