As we traveled returning various wedding decorations and rentals back to there destinations, I began reflecting on the week of preparation leading up to that very moment. The days of picking up items from one city. Picking up more decorations from another city. Storing the decor in one location. Loading up and off loading the wedding decor for set up at the venue. Spending the next day working on more set up post the wedding rehearsal. On the Wedding Day, finalizing the ceremony set up. Then, making preparations to partially set up the reception for a quick turnaround, since the reception would be in the same room as the ceremony. After the reception, we then worked to break down the room and remove all tables, chairs, rentals, and stocked all the returnable items and decor neatly for pick up the following day.
Outside of the planning process, vendor meetings, design application, and day of management, I was reminded that it’s a wonderful feeling knowing that the Bride and Groom were able to show up, walk the red carpet, enjoy their wedding, and then fly off in to the sunset for a romantic honeymoon celebration not having to worry about the day before, the day, or the day after. This just adds to the list of benefits of why hiring a Wedding Planner can be a valuable resource for the Bride and Groom!
