1. DIY Wedding Invitations
Invite your Bridesmaids over with some refreshments. They can help you assembly your Wedding Invitations. Set up an organized assembly line with rsvp cards, envelopes, guest information cards, and the invitation set ready to be placed inside the main envelope. Have your stamps ready too! Make sure you include stamps for your rsvp envelopes as well.
2. Bridal Portrait Session
It is always a great idea to have 1-2 ladies with you at your Bridal Portrait. If your mom or sister are not able to attend, invite your maid/matron to help you. An extra pair of hands to help you get into your dress and help make sure your hair is still in the right place is always helpful. Also, if you are having your portrait session outside, an extra pair of hands to carry your belongings or even your dress to keep it from hitting the ground will prove to be very beneficial.
3. Favors
Another great project your Bridesmaids can assist you with are your favors for the wedding reception. Depending on what you select, you may need help crafting, assembling, or even packing your favors in boxes, bags, or other special containers you may find. Schedule some time to get together, have fun, and assemble your guest favors.
4. Amenity Baskets
If you are having your wedding at a non-hotel venue, providing amenity baskets for the restrooms are a nice touch to add. This is a simple project that a couple of your Bridesmaids could put together for you. The cost is minimal. They can purchase 2-4 baskets and several health and comfort items like travel size packs to place in the baskets.
5. Coordinate special gatherings i.e. Bridal Shower, Luncheon, and/or Pampering Day
Typically, Bridesmaids focus on the Bridal Shower for the Bride. They could also schedule a girls day out with the Bride to have lunch or even a pampering day to get a massage. Sometimes the Bride needs a day with her girls to just relax or have a day of fun and laughter!
