My first interaction with Nishaka was positive and absolute. I knew from our very first email correspondent that I absolutely wanted to work with her. I’ll never forget, I emailed her late one Friday night (a week after the proposal). She responded the same night while she was conducting an event (a wedding rehearsal, I think). I was immediately impressed by her and her prompt response to me. We met the following week. She wanted to know “my story”, “our story”. She asked about the proposal. I loved that she was excited about me, excited about us! She asked me if I had a theme for the wedding, I did not. She said, “after everything you have told me, I will have to say “Hollywood Glam.” She truly made me feel like I was her only bride. When it was “our time” she focused only on me. I appreciated that level comfort and support.

I shared with her my vision and the elements of the wedding that were important to me. She quickly starting writing on her clipboard. Anytime I called her, she answered. She kept me calm and level headed. I sent her pictures of different dresses I tried on, she was excited. She stayed excited the entire time. I loved it!

The wedding day was simply flawless. The tall, cascading floral arrangements, our candle lit backdrop, the crystals hanging from the ceiling, and the line-up of the wedding party on stage. I did not worry about anything especially once I spoke with Nishaka, she made everything ‘alright’. All of our meetings were productive and goal met by the end of the meeting. I knew she always had my back no matter what. I wanted to be in control all the time but when I did not have control she stepped right in and handled it.
