Once Terrance proposed, I was ready to start planning our wedding immediately. Within a week, I had our date set (May 2, 2015) and had purchased a wedding planning book. Within 2 weeks, I had a venue booked and the contract signed.
I knew that the wedding planning process was going to require a lot of time and I was ready. The only question I had was…Where do I start? After announcing our engagement to some co-workers, one suggested giving Nishaka a call. She had recently attended a wedding in which she coordinated and was very impressed. I gave Nishaka a call and from our initiial conversation, I knew that we needed to have her guidance with planning our wedding. We met with Nishaka and the rest was smooth sailing. She had the questions and the answers. What I mean is, she had pertinent questions that we would have never thought about and answers to all of our questions. Nishaka had vendors for catering, florist, make-up artist, DJ, musicians, travel agents, bakers and the boutique in which I purchased my gorgeous gown and so many more.
Nishaka’s name precedes her. It seemed as if vendors were eager to work with us when we informed them that Nishaka was our planner. Nishaka, with her kindred spirit, made the entire process fun and exciting. We enjoyed every minute of working with her. Nearly, a month later, our family and friends are still boasting about our wedding. They make comments such as: the best wedding they’ve every attended, it was like something you see on t.v. and it was a fairytale wedding.
Nishaka, thank you for walking in your calling. It was a pleasure working with you! Endless Gratitude, LaToya & Terrance
